Papillion, Nebraska was established in 1870. "Papillion" comes from a French word meaning "butterfly." Papillion occupies the center of Sarpy County, with easy access to Interstate 29 and I-80.
Papillion's flourishing community lies just outside of Omaha and 45 minutes east of Lincoln, NE's Capital City.
